[/caption]BREAKING NOW FROM EGYPT: Mubarak is NOT announcing his resignation. He is not stepping down. The sounds of the crowd is getting louder and louder. He slammed Obama in his speech, proposes a number of amendments to the Egyptian Constitution. The tyrant, feeling strong now, isn't going anywhere. So much for freedom and democracy in Egypt.
Mubarak has just finished his speech, and nothing has changed. Like most dictators who feel omnipotent, he will simply promise changes and reforms in order to stay in his role, placate the masses, then probably pass on the torch of tyranny to someone else.
This guy is about as deaf to the concerns of his people as our president is. In this we can feel kinship with the Egyptian people. We know too what its like to like under repression. Its of a different kind, but repression it is.

Mubarak arrogance will only lead to his coup. He claimed to be for the people but yet he refuses to acknowledge the people demand for his resignation.
