[/caption]It’s funny, but whenever I travel anywhere, or even hear reports from the media in other countries, we always seem to hear the same refrain, when someone asks “What do you think of Americans?”:
We love the American people, we just don’t love the American government.
No matter who is in power, whether its Obama, Bush, Reagan, Clinton, Carter. Everytime, they recognize (well at least most people do) that it’s the US government and its policies that they have a problem with, its not the American people.
Also, funnily enough, we also have similar issues with our government. Usually, they feel that we have more control of our government than they do over theirs, being “free” and “democratic”. But we don’t, and things are just getting worse. We have more in common with the rest of the people’s of the world than they think.
