Why Do People Like Obama?

In a recent poll, it was reported that people LIKE President Obama, but disapprove of his policies. So I ask you: what is it about Obama that's so likable? Is this some kind of collective hallucination that this man is so wonderful as a person - not even as a leader? I mean seriously, what is it about the man that you like so much? His haughty attitude? His dismissiveness of ideas other than his own? His endless vacations in Hawaii and on the golf course while the country's economy falters? His holding parties at the White House, serving $100 an ounce Wagyu steak while unemployment rates and mortgage defaults soar?  Really, I'd like to know. Or is it just because people are afraid to be labelled as a racist if they say they don't like him? I think its the latter. I wrote in my book that "Obama is a word that makes white people smile" - I think that the reason people like Obama because, as a black man, he reflects progressive attitudes towards race. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with his personality or how he acts, its all about how he looks. Well, my friends, let's be totally honest here, would you still like him as much if he were white? If he were John Kerry, would we be cutting him so much slack? If we were truly honest with ourselves, we'd just stand up and say: We don't like the man, and his policies. If we totally take his race out of the equation, really, what's there to like? Please - if you have insight here - let me know in the comments below.

Jobless Claim Drops: Recovery?

When I see things like politicians harping that they are being successful because the reports show that jobless claims are dropping, I usually chuckle sadly. Jobless claims are not a true indication of an economy improving, in fact in this case, its most likely people dropping off the roles because their benefits have run out and they can no longer claim them. More and more people every day are facing the reality that there are no jobs, Obama’s much vaunted stimulus program did not create any jobs, and if they do get another job, its most likely a much lower paying position, where they may not be able to meet their mortgage or rent obligations. The economy is not in recovery. A recovery is much different from this. And the sad fact is that Obama knows exactly what he needs to do in order to turn around the economy and he either a) does not do it for ideological reasons  or b) is waiting until closer to the next election so he can claim the recovery as his own and be re-elected. Either way, millions will lose their cars, homes and family, while this failed leader schmoozes, dances and golfs his way through his term.

A Bold Mexico Solution

Obama is meeting with Mexican President Calderon this week in Washington and one of the items for discussion is the growing violence along the borders with Mexico. I’m sure that there will be a lot of finger pointing, bowing and scraping, and once again we will come away with nothing which helps the situation. I have a solution. And the solution is to simply stop playing games and enforce the law, as strongly as possible. Let’s face it: Mexico is a mess. And Mexico’s mess is spilling over into America. Now we can do one of two things: we can help them fix their mess, or we can put up a wall, be it real or virtual, and keep their mess on their side of the wall. I say we leave them alone to fix their mess, and erect as strong as possible, a wall to keep the mess out. Instead of hiring 15,000 IRS agents to crack down on American citizens who don’t wish to be forced to pay for the heath care of everyone around them, why not hire 15,000 more border patrol agents. Why not make drone flights over the area? Why not crack down? This President doesn’t know the meaning of the word. So until then, we will see the situation go from bad to worse. My advice if you live around there now: don’t depend on the government to help you. Also, don’t bother trying to defend yourself, against these criminals, it more likely our government will prosecute you if you try to defend yourself and your property in the “hot zone”. My advice is move away, at least until we get a President with balls. Even Sarah Palin would fit that bill.

Will Obama Invade Libya?

So the question is, will Obama invade Libya? Well, I see no reason why he would from an ideological standpoint, Obama’s ideology doesn’t believe in right and wrong, only shades of grey, so he has trouble processing the fact that Gaddafi is a BAD GUY. However, he may decide to invade Libya for political reasons, in order to attempt to propel himself into a second term. Now most people think this is unlikely, considering his contempt, and his lack of comprehension for a need for an Armed Forces, (if there are no bad guys in the world, why do we need an army to fight them?), however, since everything revolves around our narcissistic leader, then he may decide to take Gaddafi out in order to look good. Its not so far fetched: remember how he delayed sending more troops to Afghanistan right after the “won” the Nobel Peace Prize? Who knows how many Afghans and allied forces were killed when he was hemming and hawing about his decision? So I don’t put it past him to go to war in order to push up his patriot points, help him in his future role as President of the World once he gets to the UN, and assist him to secure a second term.

When We Fall, The World Rises

The reason that China, Russia and India are on the rise is not because they are doing things right when it comes to perpetrating a capitalist mindset, it is mostly because we are doing everything wrong when it comes to maintaining our leadership in the world. It’s been proven, time and time again, that what Barack Hussein Obama is doing does not help. Every action that he has taken since he has become President has not supported America, but has made us weaker. The Obama Administration, with its hateful attitude towards commerce, capitalism and the military, has systematically “taken us down – more than a few pegs”, which then, coupled with his weakness and timidity when it comes to foreign policy, has emboldened other countries to “tread on us”. Do you really think that if we had a stronger President in office, one who kept our economy strong by supporting business and capitalism domestically and by supporting democracy and capitalism outside our borders, there would be ANY talk of the American dollar’s “reign” being at an end? No. The only reason we are still in these dire straits, and that the rest of the world feels emboldened to take these steps to take us down, is wholly due to the actions of Barack Hussein Obama. The rest of the world is “feeling their oats”, so to speak, and taking action while we are down, because when the next President steps up to the plate, it will be a whole new ball game. We’d better make sure that that President can knock it out of the park – not like the bunter, Obama.

Is America In Decline?

Many liberal, as well as conservative, pundits are declaring that America is in decline. The call has been heard for a while now, from various authors and journalists who a) would prefer that America be in decline and b) actively contribute to its decline. Even stranger, many of these authors and journalists are actually American and were born in America. I guess that they are allowing their self-loathing to come out aren’t they. But I digress. The reality is that the prediction that America would be in decline has been around for ages, but America never actually went into decline until the ascension of Barack Hussein Obama and his minions. At that point, he and his administration have actively worked to make that prediction come true. America is not in decline because its people don’t believe in its vision anymore, America is in decline because its current leader and administration constantly and continuously portray that we are in decline, by our posture against other nations, and by their actions, purposely enacting policies, laws, regulation and taxes to force us into a further decline, as they attempt to overthrow American entrepreneurial culture and replace it with one of their own: a copy of a failed socialist state, where most of the rest of the world is now. We. the American people, do not believe that America is in decline, and that it is only the portrayal of decline by our President, his minions and the mainstream media which wishes it to be so. WE are definitely NOT in decline, and once we get rid of this failed non-cheerleader as President, then the world will know it too.

America: From Leader To Follower

As far as I’m concerned, America has always been a leader, in fact has been a leader since before she was even founded. For the first time in history, a state was founded to serve the people, not the other way around. We led there We led in the establishment of a wall between the state and religion. We led the way in innovation. We led the way in technology. We led the way in supporting other nations in war. We led when natural disasters devastated other countries, we led when people all over the world need help. As soon as we hear about it, we, the American people, step up, take action, open our wallets, do whatever needs to be done in order to help. Not so our current President. He wants us as a follower nation, to let others step up first, to condemn first, to help first. He does not understand, or does not care, that WE do care. We don’t want to be a follower, we want to remain a leader. So I’d argue that he’s not a good fit for the role, and needs to be fired, ASAP. Too bad we can’t let him go until 2012.

Charlie Sheen and Dogs

When will people just wake up from this fever dream and face reality? Since YOU are awake (reading this blog post is proof) please turn to the first person who says “Charlie Sheen” to you and give them a good slap (a verbal one is OK too). Get them to repeat after me “Charlie Sheen is a distraction. I am not interested in what one spoiled rich celebrity says or does. It’s UNIMPORTANT” Yes folks, why is it that we focus on these unimportant trivialities while the country burns around us? Why does the mainstream media and the Obama administration want us to be interested in things like Charlie Sheen and Jerry Browns Dog? (California is burning – there is a budget crisis like never before in the history of this state and the front page story of the local paper is all about Jerry Brown’s dog, and how he is bringing together Republicans and Democrats – it’s a DOG, people.) We need to FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS on the real issues and get off these petty distractions before its too late.

Gaddafi: It’s The Drugs!

Man, this guy is crazy. Gaddafi was interviewed by Christiane Amanpour from CNN (funny how all these liberal journalists have no trouble getting interviews with tyrants far and wide, even when they are under siege, I guess its an honor to be featured on American progressive networks) and he continues to believe that the reason that his people are revolting is that they are on drugs! Yes, folks, apparently Osama Bin Laden somehow delivered crate loads of some kind of drug all over Libya and its those drugs which are causing all of this unrest. It’s funny how these people can never see themselves to blame for anything that’s happening around them. It’s always someone else’s fault. Not that it has anything to do with 30 years of oppression and murder, or firing live rounds of ammunition into unarmed protesters, or dropping bombs on civilians from on high. No, I’m sure that has nothing to do with it.

Progressives Constipate California

Yes, folks, the progressives environmental zeal to protect the planet from the horrific effects of people has literally now bitten them in the ass (or at least in the nose). If you are in the San Francisco area, near AT&T Park, you may smell the most foul odor. That, my friends, is the smell of progressives getting their way. As is turns out, when low flow toilets first became available, the environmental activist government gave people subsidies and tax breaks to have them installed. So many in fact, that most toilets in San Francisco are low flow. Problem is that all of those low flow toilets together, do not have the flushing power to actually expel and send the waste out through the pipes. And since there isn’t enough water to flush it all out, it gets stuck and backed up, creating a horrible smell, and some engineering issues, trying to figure out how to “unblock” it. I think maybe a few thousand gallons of Ex-Lax won’t do the trick here. Progressives have literally constipated San Francisco. And if we let them, they will constipate the whole country. So I say: resist the urge to put in that low flow toilet, lest you want Rotor Router on your speed dial.
