Obama Is A Terrible Salesman–Part 2

You see, Obama is like a salesperson. Imaging that you have two salespeople in your small business. You have one sales person who goes out there and is all “Our product is AWESOME” and “Our company is AWESOME” and then with great energy and a powerful pitch, tells your prospective customers how using your product will solve all of their issues and make their lives better.

On the other hand, you have this other salesperson who is like “Well, my company is OK” and “Our product is pretty good, it’s a leader in the field, but between you and me, we could do better” and then continues to drone on at length, reading his pitch with very little positive or negative emotion about the company and product.

Which one of those two salespeople would you rather have on your sales team? Unfortunately, we have the latter.

Obama is terrible when it comes to selling the ideals and ideas of America. Its probably because he doesn’t really believe in them (or perhaps he wasn’t born here) but he, especially during this current crisis in Egypt, and these lesser crises in Tunisia and Yemen, should be up there, encouraging the people of these countries to throw off the yoke of their current government overlords (hopefully by political pressure to step down and not by violent revolution) and to install in its place a system which promotes freedom and democracy, like the vision of our founders.

Unfortunately, Obama isn’t really as gung-ho about America and its founding vision in order to do that.  He is more focused on what is wrong with America (in his perception) and fixing that, than looking at what's right in America and promoting that.

Obama Prays For Peace, Instead Of Promoting Democracy

Obama prays for peace in Egypt at a prayer breakfast in DC. If you ask me, he should be doing much more for Egypt, and every other people being oppressed by its government. We need the President of the United States to do more than pray. We need that president to point out the way to freedom for these people, and that the way to freedom is to emulate the path of the United States of America.

Not only is America and inspiration for a place to actually live, the ideals of America should be an aspiration for other countries to emulate, a blueprint if you will, for other countries to embrace and use in order to develop a free society. Any other president, who believed in America, would do that, would stand and encourage the Egyptian people to create their own free, democratic state, using our own, even with its current flaws, to build their own.
